Grand finale
The biggest event of the year in Sylhet Division, “English Scholars Hunt 2024,” is happening on April 12, 2025.
The primary objective of this event is “Know the Basis of the English Language.” The goal is to demonstrate that English is not a subject to be memorized but a language to be understood. By tracing the origins of each topic and rule, a step-by-step, engaging method will be presented to master the four modules of English at an advanced level.
This event is designed to make English accessible and enjoyable for every student in Sylhet Division.
Initial registration is open to 6,000 students from schools, colleges, and madrasahs across Sylhet Division.
Eligibility
Open to students from any school, college, or madrasah, including English Medium, Bangla Version, English Version, and Technical-Vocational Institute across the Sylhet Division.

The Biggest Event of Sylhet, 2024
Our mission is to move beyond rote learning, focusing on an in-depth understanding of English Language concepts through engaging, interactive activities.
Training session
All 6,000 participants will go through five training sessions covering grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. These sessions will help them overcome their fear of English and learn effective techniques for mastering this global language.
selection test
From these students, the top 500 will be selected for the main event, the Grand Finale.
Grand Finale stages
Written Exam:
Top 500 students showcase creativity and skills, evaluating grammar, writing, listening abilities.
Viva:
Top 20 students assessed on communication, public speaking, and critical thinking skills.
